How to:

  • Stamp ‘Carl in Love’ on to a 5cm x 7.5cm piece of watercolour paper and colour with Riding Hood Red ink using an aquapainter or blender pen, taking a small amount of colour from the lid of the Ink Pad. Making it darker where there would be a shadow.

  • Using the Close to Cocoa ink pad and your aquapainter, colour some sand underneath Carl, also colour his nose and hair.

  • When dry, go over image with the Zig Glue Pen and sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds over the top. – This will also conveniently hide any imperfections in your watercolouring!!

  • Matt the coloured image on top Riding Hood Red and then onto some Basic Black cardstock.

  • Fold A5 Riding Hood Red Cardstock in half and stamp the front with Sanded Background stamp in Riding Hood red ink.

  • Scallop the edge of a 7cm x 15cm piece of Basic Black Cardstock, layer a piece of 5cm x 15cm Riding Hood Red Designer paper on top. Centre across the front of the card. Attach the image of the centre with foam tape.

  • Thread some cotton through the button holes and attach them on either side of the image with glue dots or tape.

  • I have used rub-ons to add a sentiment to the bottom right corner.

THANK YOU, CAROLINE!
